# Quickstart

Deskely helps teams manage commissioning and preservation records. Use the web app to plan and control work. Use the tablet app to execute work in the field.

### How Deskely is organized

* **Projects** hold your data and workflow.
* **Roles** control what you can see and do.
* **Master data** feeds dropdowns and standard values.
* **Templates** define what to execute and report.
* **Issued records** are the live work in progress.
* **Punches** track issues found in the field.
* **Certificates** show readiness and status.
